Terminus Est

Ages ago, after the Cataclysm had riven Atreia in two, Lord Azphel appointed six Daeva to establish justice of the highest order among the Asmodian people: The Judges of Silence. Within decades of the inception of the Shadow Court, it was apparent that a counter to their absolute power was required to restore the balance of justice to Asmodae: and thus the Archons of Dusk were born.

Terminus Est is a heavy roleplaying legion serving the Archons of Dusk on crucial missions that require direct military action. While our approach to roleplay involves detailed involvement and dedication to storytelling, we strive for a relaxed, mature atmosphere and the freedom for our players to shape their own gameplay. As a legion, we seek to offer a unique roleplaying experience in Aion, one that delves deeper into the subtler aspects of life in Asmodae and its intrigues, as well as affording the player a way to integrate their personal roleplay into overarching plots.

Creative, imaginative, and driven players who like to work within the bounds of Aion's lore are welcome. If you're independent, strong-minded, and like to work with a small group of roleplayers who seek excellence in roleplay, Terminus Est might be the legion for you.

Terminus Est

by Valiere, 356 days ago

Welcome to the site for Terminus Est. We are a heavy roleplaying legion on formerly what was the Aion Lumiel server and is now New Israphel.

It's been a long year and a half of playing on Aion, but I regret to say that Terminus Est is closing its doors to new applicants. It may be that the legion will rise again, but it is not likely given the state of RP (or lack of it) on Israphel.

Aion was never a conducive environment for the sort of RP that the founders of Terminus Est sought to establish, and our struggles to push the envelope with a small inclusive legion were often taxing to the point of sapping the enjoyment out of the game.

Excellent rpers both within and outside the legion, who were a spark of hope in a bleak RP landscape, would inevitably vanish after a short period of time. Whether it was a few days or few weeks, these losses only seemed to emphasize what the RP on the game lacked without them and confirm that it was simply unsuited for it. With new games on the horizon, real life commitments and the realization that perhaps heavy RP should be best left to better environments, Valiere decided to close the legion's doors. Some of the original legion's players may still be on the game in some form for casual play, but for the most part we have moved on.

Thank you for the rp and for your interest in this legion. Look for us in TERA, GW2 and other games.
